Sarah Thom and Sarah Toogood depicted brilliant adversaries, pushing each other out of the limelight and performing over-the-top sequences so typical of the time. The pair also convinced the audience of the double-entendre which existed between these two women; a never-ending conflict married with genuine compassion and attachment to each other despite everything.
