America has the weakest labor market since the Great Depression.Labor Day is less about labor and more about leisure, according to a recent survey by Adecco USA. Fifty-nine percent of respondents think of Labor Day as an end to summer, while only 22% equate the holiday with workers’ rights. The majority of those who are working will be doing it at home – in the form of house work or working in the yard. Only 20% reported going into work on Labor Day.
